Georg Jensen ‘Louvre’ Bowl No. 19A. This lovely pedestal bowl was designed by Georg Jensen in 1912. The bowl stands 6.625 inches high with a 7.75-inch diameter bowl. The bowl bears impressed company marks for Georg Jensen circa 1945-1972, Denmark. This bowl is in excellent condition.

A Georg Jensen “Louvre” bowl No. 19A was acquired by the Louvre Museum in 1914. Considered one of Jensen’s most iconic designs. A similar example can be seen in the book Georg Jensen: A Tradition of Splendid SIlver by Janet Drucker.
