Georg Jensen Melon Serving Set No. 79 and 80 in Acorn. The Acorn pattern was designed by Johan Rohde in 1915. This two-piece serving set is a rare form in all sterling silver. The serving knife has a cresent-shaped blade and the serving fork has flat and narrow three prong end. These servers measures 10.25 inches long and each bears impressed company marks for Georg Jensen circa +1945, Sterling, Denmark. This melon set is in excellent condition.
