Georg Jensen Macrame Belt by Naja Salto No. 605. This macrame belt was designed by Naja Salto in the 1960’s.

The belt consists of woven gold and lavendar macrame cords along with four sterling silver with gold and lavendar enamel panels completed by an adjustable link chain.

The woven belt measures 25.5 inches and is adjustable up to 32 inches. The belt is approximately .5-inch wide.

The belt bears impressed company marks for Georg Jensen, Sterling, 925S, Denmark, Naja Salto, 605. The necklace is in excellent condition.

Note: Born in 1945, Naja Salto trained as a weaver at the Design School in Copenhagen in the 1960s. She has created numerous tapestries and installations around Copenhagen.
